🐰Bunnies, Hugs, and Heroes – This Saturday at Fort Belvoir, VA! 🐰

Hello Reader,

We’re excited to invite our DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland friends to join us this Saturday, November 2 at the National Museum of the United States Army for an uplifting day of community, support, and fun during the Salute to Service: Celebrating Veterans and Military Families event.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Rock Island Farm and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation (EDF) will be there bringing smiles, connection, and resources to caregivers and families. With our 🐰Snuggle Bunny Pop-Up🐰, you’ll have a chance to meet our adorable Holland Lops and discover EDF’s mission to support the 14.2 million Americans who care for our nation’s veterans.

What to Expect This Saturday:
🐰 Snuggle Bunny Zone: Rock Island Farm’s bunnies bring more than just fluffy fun – they provide calm and joy, helping us connect with caregivers and families in a hands-on way. Perfect for bunny selfies and a warm reminder of the comfort and healing our work brings to military families!

❤️ Meet the EDF Caregiver Community: EDF is on a mission to uplift and support those who care for veterans across America. Our Virginia Fellows will be there to share real-life stories of strength, resilience, and the incredible impact caregivers have. Learn how EDF is amplifying caregivers’ voices and empowering them as leaders in veteran care.

🌟 Programs with Purpose: Discover Rock Island Farm’s unique programs like “Adopt a Lop,” Snuggle Bunny Sundays, and Healing with Holland Lops – all designed to bring comfort and connection to military families. At the EDF table, explore how they advocate for policies, resources, and recognition for caregivers nationwide.

🎉 Community and Connection: Bring the family, friends, or come solo – everyone is welcome! Enjoy crafts, games, and a meaningful day dedicated to honoring and celebrating those who serve, as well as those who support them. 🐰

Reserve your free ticket today, bring your friends and family, and come experience the warmth and connection that Rock Island Farm and EDF bring to our military families and caregivers.

With gratitude and excitement,
Betsy and the Rock Island Farm Team
